Amtrack Rail Service to Extend Beyond Portland, Maine to Brunswick, Maine
News has come out that the rail passenger service (by Amtrak) will be extended from Portland, Maine to Brunswick, Maine. The federal government (your tax dollars at work) is providing $35 million for the project. The Amtrak Downeaster will pass through and stop in Freeport, Maine as well.
