The Maine Birding Trail offers a wealth of information for the birdwatcher who lives or visits Maine.  The Maine Birding Trail consists of 82 official sites.  You can read online or download the brochure that lists these sites as an Adobe Acrobat PDF file by clicking here.  There is also a guidebook available as well.  The Maine Birding Trail website provides birding links, maps, trip planning, field checklist of Maine birds, and a list of birding events.

The Maine Snowmobiler - A Newspaper for Snowmobilers in Maine and Beyond

"The Maine Snowmobiler" is a suscription newspaper published by the Maine Snowmobile Association.  It is published monthly September through April.  The newspaper provides news, club reports, and other information.  It has a circulation of 14,000. 19th Annual Can-Am Crown Sled Dog Race 2011

Click at the link below for the 2011 CAN-AM Crown Sled Dog Race schedule to be held at Fort Kent, Maine.  There is a 30-mile race, 60-mile race, and a 250-mile race.  The 250-mile race is a qualifier for the Iditarod and Yukon Quest dog sled races.
