Fryeburg Fair, Maine Sep 28 - Oct 5

The 2008 Fryeburg Fair will take place on September 28 to October 5, 2008. This is known as Maine's largest agricultural fair and takes place at the start of "leaf-peeping" season. There are many exhibition halls, a midway, livestock displays and shows, entertainment, racing, and Woodsmens' Day. Some other events include a calf scramble, Firemen's Muster, parade, sheep dog trials, games, and pig scramble. Fryeburg, Maine is located in western Maine just a few miles from the New Hampshire border on Route 302.
