Wolfe's Neck Woods State Park, Freeport, ME

Wolfe's Neck Woods State Park is a five minute drive from the center of Freeport, Maine. The park of more than 200 acres contains varied ecosystems, including climax white pine and hemlock forests, a salt marsh estuary, and the rocky shorelines on Casco Bay and the Harraseeket River. Ospreys nest on nearby Googins Island. Visitors can enjoy picnics at the park. This is a wonderful place to walk if you are visiting Freeport, Maine.
