Snowmobiles and Consideration for Animals


The Maine Warden Service has advised that snowmobilers need to be considerate of wild animals such as moose and deer. In the middle of winter, with lots of snow in the woods, the animals are looking for easier walking paths - such as snowmobile trails - to get around.
