Blog about the History of Portland, Maine

I have just read a new blog about the history of Portland, Maine.  The blog is entitled "Portland, Maine History Blog" and it is full of interesting stories, facts, and pictures of the early days of Portland.  The blogger is an interesting fellow with a diverse background who lives in Maine.  He is an author and he has wrote a couple of books.  Some of his posts deal with shipwrecks, slavery, and funny stories from the 18th and 19th century.  Worth checking out!
