Appalachian Mountain Club and Land Purchase

The Appalachian Mountain Club recently purchased 29,500 acres of forest land and donated it to the state of Maine. The purchase facilitates the creation of a 63-mile-long corridor of conservation land in Maine. Read more in an AMC news release.
