Maine Company Makes Doormats from Discarded Floating Rope
A Waldoboro, Maine company, Custom Cordage Company, is making doormats out of discarded floating rope formerly used by fishermen. Ever since the government prohibited floating rope in fishing activities (they were a danger to whales) there has been lots of excess used floating rope around to be disposed of.
