Northern Forest Canoe Trail (NY, VT, NH, and ME)
The Northern Forest Canoe Trail stretches from Old Forge, New York to Fort Kent, Maine. Along its path it crosses over the states of New York, Vermont, into Quebec, New Hampshire, and finally Maine - ending along the Canadian border. The trail links the waterways of all of these states and a small part of Quebec. The 740-mile paddling route lies along historic routes used by early Native Americans and European settlers. For more information visit the Northern Forest Canoe Trail website.
