Thorncrag Nature Sanctuary - Lewiston, Maine

The Thorncrag Nature Sanctuary is located in Lewiston, Maine and is a 357 acre wildlife preserve.  The sanctuary is a forested oasis surrounded on three sides by urban and suburban development.  In addition to birdwatching other forms of recreation are allowed at the bird preserve to include picnicking, hiking, walking, snowshoeing, sledding, cross-country skiing, and skating.  Learn of other opportunities for birdwatching in Maine.
